"This image handily marks the point at which my imagination kicked in, when I was five. My teacher had started to lightly mock my penchant for drawing nothing but generic two-dimensional houses day after day. This is my apparent revenge - the first drawing in my exercise book after House #432 - Quasimodo going on holiday in his highly customised Renault 5 automobile. I never looked back."
